I think the waveinput plugin does not help in this case :-( and as I am doing live mixes, latency is another important topic. I learned that SONOS does have features like that but I did not find anything so far for LMS, e.g. I would need to grab the audio from my mac sound card, route it over the network to the NAS and have the LMS broadcast the stream. But I have no idea how to achieve all this. I would love to play my mixes over the LMS to have them all over the place. (I could as well use the built in sound card of the mac instead which is I guess the only way it would potentially work.) On my Macbook Air I am running DJ Software Traktor Pro and use a hardware controller with external sound card, so my PA and monitor speakers connect to the Controller by default. I am running LMS from my Synology NAS playing a bunch of duet receivers in 3 groups. Now my setup has changed and my requirement as well. Few years back I had a similar question I never figured out how to play music from an ipod over LMS.
